Fully remote with occasional travel for supplier negotiations.
Anywhere in UTC+8 and surroundings. East Asia preferred: Singapore, KL, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Seoul.
What Conduit is
Picture the purchasing lead at a mid-market distributor. Thousands of SKUs, a dozen suppliers across Asia, no procurement department and no procurement software. A supplier degrades and they have to qualify a replacement they have never bought from, under time pressure, with inventory already committed weeks out.
Tariffs, sanctions, rerouted lanes. Underneath the headlines it shows up small and constant: lead time slides from three weeks to nine, price moves 12%, an RFQ sits unanswered for eleven days.
The tools that exist sell this job in two halves, and mid-market can afford neither. Risk monitors watch and alert, but cannot source, and they are priced for the Fortune 500. Agentic sourcing suites find suppliers, but only once a human opens an RFQ, and they do not watch. An alert without an alternate is anxiety. An alternate found after the shelves are empty is a post-mortem. Nobody sells the loop.
Conduit closes it. You connect your ERP. We watch your supply lines, keep ranked alternates warm with quote requests ready to fire, and let your agent place the order on invoice and terms. You wake up to five vetted alternates instead of a blank page and a call to whoever in the company is good under pressure.
The terms, up front
This is a co-founder role, not a job. There is no salary until we raise. Compensation is equity, on four year vesting with no cliff and credit from your start date.
The role
The products are being released (MCP, Agentic Hub, ERP Connectors), but we need traction and a feedback loop from potential clients. The next milestone is 20 to 30 supplier conversations inside one beachhead vertical, converting to 1 to 3 design partners on non-binding LOIs. That evidence is what a pre-seed turns on, and it is this role. You would own the beachhead choice, the conversations, and the partners that come out of them.
Who I am looking for
Someone who has sat inside supply chain or procurement and came out with relationships. People who would take your call because they already know you. Distribution, wholesale, category management, or selling into procurement buyers. What matters is the phone book and knowing how these businesses actually decide, not the title.
Who this is not for
Not for advisors, not for consultants looking for a project, and not for anyone who needs income from this in the next several months. If you cannot start supplier conversations within a few weeks of us agreeing terms, this is not the right time.
What happens next
Answer the screening questions properly and I will read every one. If it looks like a fit, a call, and I will be straight with you about exactly where the company is.
