You will contribute to technical decisions and help create maintainable solutions for our customers, while working alongside other software engineering professionals. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and gain experience across different areas of software development, supported by the team. You will develop software to meet client user needs using Cobol, follow established best practice guidelines, and contribute to their continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Develop Cobol-based software solutions aligned to client requirements Follow and contribute to development best practices Work collaboratively within an Agile team environment Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes Essential Requirements Proficiency in Cobol development Experience developing fully functioning Cobol applications Experience working in Agile delivery environments Knowledge of CI/CD, pipelines, testing, and software architecture Desirable Requirements Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Front-end development experience (React, Node, or JavaScript) Experience with Angular, Spring, HTML, SQL, or similar technologies Experience with Java Please note: This is a 12-month daily rate contract role.
