Collections Specialist - Home Care - Private Duty

What You'll Do Perform collection duties for all assigned Private Duty accounts. Expedite billing corrections to the appropriate team members. Follow up on unpaid claims to confirm they are on file and being adjudicated. Notify branch offices of any needed changes to patient accounts or plans. Monitor aged private duty accounts receivable and take appropriate collection action, escalating issues to the Senior Director as needed. Review collection reports with the Senior Director as requested. Respond to client inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Make collections calls in line with company guidelines. Follow up and collect on balances deemed patient or client responsibility. Take on other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. 3+ years of collections experience preferred. Private Duty collections experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills. A positive, proactive team player. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with AlayaCare software is a plus. Work Environment This is a fully remote position. Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required. You should be comfortable with the physical demands of a typical remote desk role - sitting, standing, and light movement - and able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds.
