Create short-form content and graphics for comedy clubs and live venues across the US.

A US entertainment marketing agency working with major stand-up comedians, podcasters, and creators needs a Video Editor & Graphic Designer who thinks like a content marketer, not an assembly-line editor. You'll turn long-form footage into scroll-stopping clips, build promo and ad graphics that drive ticket sales, and package everything for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

This is high-volume and fast-paced, but it lives or dies on taste: knowing where to start a clip, when to cut, how to build curiosity and retention, and how to maximize a joke's performance without ever breaking it. Being able to consume comedy and understand joke structure is non-negotiable.

What You'll Do

• Source and cut short-form clips that perform, with the comedy judgment to know which moments work and where to cut without killing the joke
• Design marketing graphics that drive clicks and ticket sales, including CTR-optimized thumbnails, promo assets, and ad creative
• Produce clean, accurate, on-brand assets at high volume across multiple artists and platforms

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years editing short-form video for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, or social ads
• A portfolio that proves your short-form editing quality
• Genuine comedy literacy, with a real understanding of joke structure
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, not CapCut
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for promo graphics, cutouts, and layout
• Professional workstation with webcam, noise-canceling headset, and stable internet of 25 Mbps or higher

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Vista Social or similar scheduling tools
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion and animated text
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for thumbnails and design assets
• Knowledge of thumbnail psychology and click-through-rate optimization
• Familiarity with Descript, Riverside, Opus, Frame.io, and AI editing tools

What We Expect

• Full-time during US business hours, Monday–Friday, aligned to MST/Arizona time
• Comfortable producing 50+ assets per week across multiple venues and formats
• Sharp clip selection and comedy timing, judged on your sample edit
• Flawless accuracy on names, dates, captions, and export specs
• Start date: ASAP

Compensation

• US$1,100–$1,300 per month
• Direct-hire role with room to grow as the agency expands its client roster
• Paid twice a month in USD
• Fully remote
• Long-term, stable role

Hiring Process

• 20-minute application, including a video response
• 20-minute 1-on-1 video interview
• Paid sample edit from supplied raw footage
• 20-minute final client interview

This is a high-volume creative production role for someone with real short-form editing and Photoshop experience. You’ll be evaluated on portfolio quality, accuracy, ability to follow briefs, clip selection, and completed sample work.
