Description We are looking for a driven Commercial Brand Manager to join our Strategic Partnerships team and own a portfolio of musical instrument brands as businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for commercial performance, assortment, SKU lifecycle, and vendor relationships across 65+ brands distributed through the company, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to turn brand strategy into clear actions, measurable results, and profitable growth. Key responsibilities Own sales, margin, inventory, and profitability performance Develop quarterly and annual brand plans Identify risks, opportunities, and growth initiatives Track performance against plan and drive corrective actions Own the brand assortment by channel Manage new SKU setup and ongoing SKU maintenance Own product information, pricing, costs, images, descriptions, and other product data Manage SKU lifecycle from new product introduction through phase-out/discontinuation Identify assortment gaps, new products, exclusives, bundles, and expansion opportunities Serve as the day-to-day commercial contact for assigned vendors Manage vendor communication, business reviews, launches, promotions, and growth plans Build stronger partnerships and identify opportunities for expanded business Partner with Sales on account priorities and opportunities Develop promotional and product strategies Support new product launches and marketplace opportunities Identify opportunities to increase distribution, customer adoption, and revenue Partner with Sales, Inventory, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Marketplace, and Customer Support to ensure plans are executed Own the follow-through on cross-functional plans, not simply the communication between teams Analyze sales, margin, inventory, and customer performance Identify trends and business risks Support forecasting and inventory planning Turn data into clear recommendations and actions Requirements 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Brand Management, Product Management, Merchandising, Buying, or Vendor Management Strong analytical and business planning skills Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Inventory, and Finance Comfortable working with large data sets in Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables) Music industry or consumer products experience is a plus Ability to travel occasionally (approximately 10–15% of the time) for trade shows and partner visits
