Commercial / Corporate Lawyer - Office General Counsel

An excellent opportunity has arisen in KPMG’s Office of General Counsel (OGC) for a commercial lawyer. The OGC deals with a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements and agreements, regulatory issues and litigation. Your Opportunity Forming part of the Office of General Counsel team this role will play a key role in a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements and agreements, regulatory issues and litigation by Drafting and negotiating general contracts and commercial agreements Reviewing new products and service offerings Providing legal advice in relation to tender documents and client service offerings Liaising closely with the business and external counsel Your Experience At KPMG, we believe diversity of thought, background and experience strengthens relationships and delivers meaningful benefits to our people, our clients, and communities. To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include: Experience negotiating general commercial contracts Exposure to corporate law matter is desirable Strong drafting and negotiation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience building relationships with internal clients at all levels A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving You are an admitted lawyer and hold a current practising certificate.
