About the Role As Director, Commercial Operations for the Health & Medical Business Unit in the US, you will lead and optimize our Commercial Operations function, driving commercial excellence across four key pillars, Contracting, Commercial Analytics, Pricing and Commercial Training. As a member of the US Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in enabling profitable growth, improving commercial effectiveness, and supporting data-driven business decisions across the organization. You will lead an organization of approximately 20–25 employees through four direct reports responsible for Contracting, Commercial Analytics, Pricing, and Commercial Training. Contracting is a key area of focus within this role, supporting strategic relationships across GPOs, hospital systems, and major healthcare customers. This will be a hybrid position and the ideal candidate should live in Charlotte, NC. What You Will Do Lead and develop the Commercial Operations organization, including Contracting, Commercial Analytics, Pricing, and Commercial Training functions. Lead an organization of approximately 20–25 employees through four direct reports. Develop and execute commercial operations strategies that support business objectives, profitable growth, and operational excellence. Provide leadership and oversight of healthcare contracting activities, including GPOs, hospital systems, commercial agreements, and contract governance. Drive pricing strategy, pricing governance, and profitability initiatives to maximize commercial performance. Oversee commercial analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and performance management to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, and other key stakeholders to execute commercial priorities and transformation initiatives. Build organizational capability, develop talent, and foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Champion process improvement, automation, and scalable commercial solutions that strengthen business performance and customer success. Who You Are 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Commercial Operations, Contracting, Pricing, Analytics, Sales Operations, or related commercial functions. Extensive experience in healthcare contracting, including GPOs, hospital systems, commercial agreements, and market access environments. Proven success leading managers and multifunctional commercial organizations. Experience leading CRM platforms Strong understanding of pricing strategy, commercial analytics, revenue optimization, and business performance management. Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead organizational transformation across multiple business functions. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data and insights into business results. Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or related industries is preferred. Exceptional candidates from other industries with relevant commercial operations expertise will also be considered.
