Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent Description: The Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent is responsible for working with the Account Manager in providing timely and professional service for the clients. The CSA is expected to develop a knowledge of assigned accounts and is expected to meet the department’s Standard of Excellence for client service, professionalism, and work attitude. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Processes emails in agency boxes and moves them to the Account Manager folder if it pertains to a renewal • Responds to customer inquiries regarding policy changes, etc., promptly • Places Certificate requests in the appropriate folder or process them when needed • Assists the Account Manager with marketing during the marketing and quotation process • Assists clients/policyholders in filing claims or making claim updates • Processes renewal certificates • Follows department procedures for processing and preparation of customer correspondence, certificates of insurance, binder, cancellation requests, insurance ID cards and internal correspondence as requested, ensuring that activities and follow-ups are set and the client file in the agency management system is updated and consistent • Fulfills other duties as assigned Skills and Knowledge: • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) • Must be able to communicate information and respond to questions (both verbally and in written form) effectively with clients, company personnel, and others • Possess current Property, Casualty Insurance License • Basic knowledge of Insurance products • Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting Leavitt Group offers a full and attractive benefits package including; • $50,000-$60,000 depending on experience • Health Insurance • Dental and Vision Insurance • 401(k) with matching employer contributions. • HSA and FSA • Paid sick and vacation leave Working Conditions/Needs: • High-pressure, fast paced environment with significant telephone and personal disruption. • Must have an ergonomic desk and chair. Desk large enough for two large monitors and laptop (provided by Leavitt) • Quiet space – able to have conversations with clients, carriers, co-workers without background noise (family/children/animals). • Must have high-speed internet connection – 50MB Up and Down or Higher. (Your internet provider will understand these numbers). • Internet connection (not Wi-Fi) in your workspace.
