Responsibilities Proactively prospect and generate new business leads through outside sales activities and field work. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline independently, from initial outreach through deal closure. Identify and develop a specific vertical market to focus business development efforts. Conduct consultative sales meetings with prospective clients to assess their commercial insurance needs. Present and close tailored commercial insurance solutions that align with client requirements. Cultivate and leverage referral networks to expand business opportunities. Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, pipeline status, and client interactions. Qualifications Background in structured sales training with a demonstrated, disciplined sales methodology. Proven experience as a hunter in a sales role, with the ability to self-generate leads and prospects. Strong consultative sales skills with experience identifying client needs and delivering tailored solutions. Demonstrated track record of independently closing sales deals. Ability to identify and develop a targeted vertical market for focused business growth. Commercial insurance experience is preferred, but candidates from other industries with strong structured sales backgrounds will be considered. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
