Commercial Vehicle Product Specialist

Motor Distributors Limited, the exclusive importer and distributor of Mercedes-Benz, smart, BYD and XPENG in Ireland wish to recruit a Commercial Vehicle Product Specialist for our Commercial Vehicle Department. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, proactive professional to support the day-to-day operations of this department.

Reporting to the Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our dealer network and our sales team while taking ownership of a broad range of responsibilities that contribute to the smooth and successful operation of the department, as we continue to develop our world-class product range.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing vehicle specifications for the Irish Market.
• Preparing and delivering sales training to the dealer network.
• Monitoring competitor activity.
• Working with Dealers on specifications for special orders.
• Managing and maintaining a library of specifications.
• Dealing with European Regulations and derogations as they become effective.
• Managing the Connectivity Offerings for Mercedes-Benz Vans & Trucks.
• Supporting the eVan Program in conjunction with the Dealer Net & Direct Fleet Sales.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• You will have a strong understanding of the LCV market.
• Previous experience in the LCV market would be an advantage.
• A strong understanding of Customer Requirements.
• A working knowledge of modern-day connectivity offerings.
• Must be IT literate.
• Must be capable of working on their own initiative.
