About the Role

Sycomp is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Commissions Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting or finance professional who enjoys working with data, reporting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

In this role, you will support the end-to-end sales commissions process, helping ensure commissions are calculated accurately, reports are delivered on time, and critical financial data is maintained with a high level of accuracy. You will work closely with Accounting, Finance, and Global Sales teams while developing expertise in commission administration, business processes, and financial reporting.

What You'll Do

• Calculate and process bi-weekly sales commissions
• Review sales invoices and validate gross profit calculations
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve data issues
• Prepare commission reports and supporting documentation
• Maintain commission and sales compensation reporting
• Assist with commission forecasting and accrual reporting
• Partner with Sales, Accounting, and Management teams
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain organized and audit-ready records
• Learn and utilize ERP systems, commission platforms, and Tableau reporting tools
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Commissions, Sales Compensation, or Financial Analysis
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Experience supporting commissions or sales compensation programs is a plus
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling compensation data
