The Role The Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Committee Support Minutes Coordinator to join our Governance team. This role plays an important part in supporting the Club's Board of Trustees and 50 committees by ensuring accurate documentation, effective communication, and smooth committee operations. The Committee Support Minutes Coordinator provides administrative and governance support that helps committees conduct business efficiently and remain aligned with the Club's strategic priorities. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and active listener who can synthesize complex discussions, maintain confidentiality, and deliver high-quality work with accuracy and professionalism. What You'll Do Provide administrative support to the Board and committees to help ensure meetings and governance activities run efficiently. Listen to committee meeting recordings and prepare accurate, comprehensive, and concise meeting minutes. Capture key discussion points, recommendations, decisions, action items, and next steps. Ensure minutes are professionally written, properly formatted, and free of grammatical and spelling errors. Synthesize information from meetings into clear records that support continuity, accountability, and informed decision-making. Complete and submit meeting minutes accurately and within established deadlines. Maintain regular communication with Committee Support leadership regarding assignments, deadlines, and emerging needs. Contribute to process improvements that enhance committee effectiveness and administrative efficiency. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative support, coordination, office administration, or a related field. Experience producing professional meeting minutes, written communications, or business documentation. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other irregular hours as needed to support committee meetings and governance activities. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a board of directors, committee structure, nonprofit organization, membership organization, or governance function. Experience preparing meeting minutes, agendas, reports, and official organizational records. Experience working in a member-focused, hospitality, association, or private club environment. Additional Requirements Ability to work in a standard office environment and remotely, depending on business needs. Approximately 95% of duties may be performed remotely. Availability to support evening and occasional weekend committee meetings. Commitment to maintaining regular, reliable attendance and meeting established deadlines.
