Communications Associate (Maternity Cover – approx. 2.5 years)

Join PPG as a Communications Associate and help us shape our brand presence globally and across the EMEA region. The Role: As a Communications Associate, you will be the creative engine behind our digital channels. You will ideate, design, and manage content that resonates with our audience while ensuring our brand remains consistent, accessible, and data-driven. Your Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Strategy: Ideate, write, design, and schedule engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and YouTube (with a 25% focus on the EMEA region). Analytics: Track and analyze social media metrics to provide data-backed recommendations for future growth. Digital Asset Management: Maintain our digital asset systems and microsites, ensuring all content is up-to-date and GDPR compliant. Web & Accessibility: Write and design content for PPG.com, ensuring full alignment with the European Accessibility Act and WCAG 2.0 guidelines. Brand Stewardship: Act as the EMEA point person for brand training, manage the PPG Brand Kit in Canva, and ensure brand consistency across all channels. Internal Collaboration: Partner with various departments to manage company reputation and support communications within EMEA. What We Are Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s degree at minimum. Experience: 3+ years in Communications, Social Media, or Marketing. Language Skills: Fluent verbal and written English (C2 proficiency/mastery). Technical Skills: Excellent computer literacy and deep familiarity with social media platforms. Mindset: A proactive team player who can introduce new developments and best practices from outside the company.
