What you can expect: The Communications Specialist reports to the Global Communications function and plays a key role in turning Preferred by Nature's strategic communications priorities into action. This hands-on, delivery-focused role combines project coordination with content development, working closely with regional colleagues and the Digital, Content and Design functions to ensure timely, high-quality delivery across channels. Acting as a connector across teams, you will keep communication initiatives moving efficiently from planning to execution, while supporting cross-collaboration with regional teams as needed. Working with us is never routine, so your work will be central to the following areas: Communication implementation and coordination: Translate communications strategies into concrete activities and implementation plans Coordinate communication initiatives across functions and regions Ensure consistency of messaging and brand application, and timely delivery of outputs Content development and production: Develop, write and edit content for multiple channels, including website, social media, and newsletters Adapt content for different audiences and coordinate inputs from technical experts Coordinate production and publication with Digital, Content and Design colleagues Project coordination and delivery: Coordinate day-to-day implementation of communications projects and campaigns Develop work plans, timelines, and briefs; monitor progress and follow up on actions Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and maintain project trackers Stakeholder engagement and internal collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, regional colleagues, and subject matter experts Contribute to editorial planning and support collaboration across communications teams Your first year with us: Within three months, you will: Develop a solid understanding of Preferred by Nature’s strategic communications priorities, brand guidelines, and existing communication channels. Build working relationships with regional colleagues, subject matter experts, and the Digital, Content and Design functions. Begin supporting the implementation of active communications activities under guidance from the Global Communications function. Within six months, you will: Independently coordinate communications projects and campaigns from planning through to delivery. Consistently produce high-quality content across multiple channels and formats. Act as an effective connector between cross-functional teams involved in communications delivery. Within twelve months, you will: Operate as a reliable, independent coordinator across the full communications project lifecycle. Contribute proactively to editorial planning and the identification of new communication opportunities. Strengthen collaboration and consistency across regional and global communications functions. Important that you: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, International Relations, or a related discipline Bring at least 3 years of professional experience in communications, including digital communication, ideally within international, sustainability, or development sectors Have proven experience developing content across multiple platforms and coordinating communications projects with multiple stakeholders Have excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with strong project coordination and organisational abilities Have strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset Are fluent in English, written and spoken Are able to work independently while contributing effectively to multicultural, multidisciplinary teams Would also be great, but not necessary, if you: Hold a Master’s degree.
