Community & Communications Internship
ISH is a paid community for women building careers and businesses: we run retreats, live workshops, online masterclasses, and a (NEW) members app launching this year.
The community is the product, and the way we communicate is what makes it feel worth being part of.
You’ll be the person keeping things warm: in DMs, in the inbox, inside the app. A lot of what makes ISH work happens in conversations, and this role is about making sure none of them go quiet.
Your day to day
DMs & Inbox
- Manage DMs on Instagram and in the app
- Triage the inbox: reply, flag, or escalate
- Keep response times tight
In-App Community
- Reply to comments and welcome new members
- Publish masterclasses and sessions in the app
- Keep the community feeling active and cared for
Outreach
- Research potential collaborators and guest speakers
- Reach out to the ones we greenlight with a brief
- Follow up and keep us in the loop
This role is for you if...
You're a natural communicator: writing comes easily to you and you can adapt your tone without losing warmth.
You're genuinely interested in how communities work and what makes people stay, engage, and feel like they belong.
You're someone people can trust with account access, private messages, and conversations.
You're reliable, easy to work with, and looking to get your hands on real projects outside of university or personal work.
