Community & Events Executive

Talenox | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We're looking for someone in the Klang Valley to be the face of Talenox on the ground in Malaysia, running our events and seminars, and keeping our MY community engaged both online and off.

You'll work closely with our Malaysia Sales Lead and report to our Growth Marketing Lead in Singapore, who oversees growth marketing across SG, MY, and HK. It's a junior role today, but there's a clear path to owning more of MY marketing as you settle in and build trust with the team.

Events & Seminars

You'll handle the logistics end to end: venues, vendors, on-ground setup, the whole day-of scramble. Where we've got an outsourced events team involved, you'll make sure handoffs are clean. After each event, you'll pull together attendance numbers and a short writeup on how it went.

Community

This is largely yours to grow. You'll manage our Malaysia community across whatever channels make sense, social groups, forums, and the like, posting content that fits our brand voice and actually replying to people when they engage. If something touches a partner relationship or compliance, you'll know to loop in the right person rather than answer it yourself.

Social & Paid

You'll manage MY-specific paid spend across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads, with oversight from our Growth Marketing Lead. You'll own the day-to-day budget decisions and keep tabs on how MY social and community activity is performing against our targets.

What we're hoping to find in you:

• 1 to 3 years in events, community management, or marketing coordination. SaaS or startup experience is a plus but not a dealbreaker
• Based in or near Kuala Lumpur, and genuinely fine with being out at events regularly, not just at a desk
• The kind of person who can juggle five vendors and three deadlines without losing the plot
• Solid written Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin helps if you're talking to the wider MY business crowd
