👋 About Us We’re looking for a passionate Community Manager to join the iniBuilds team, the voice and bridge between our community and our developers. You’ll help oversee our Discord server, forum, and community testing programs , fostering engagement, building trust, and ensuring customers feel heard while helping to feed valuable insights back to the internal team. This is a key role for someone who understands both the desires of the community and the goals of a fast-paced development studio. 📝 Work Description As a Community Manager, you’ll help with managing all community channels, including Discord, forums, and testing initiatives, to ensure smooth communication between customers and the iniBuilds team. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the community interacts with our products, from major aircraft releases to scenery updates, and act as a liaison for customer feedback, bug reporting, and feature suggestions. Your goal is to create a welcoming, informative, and engaging environment that celebrates the passion of our customers while ensuring clear communication and collaboration across internal departments. 🥸 Responsibilities Oversee and help manage all iniBuilds community platforms (Discord, forums, testing groups). Maintain a positive and respectful environment by moderating discussions and supporting community guidelines. Coordinate community testing programs, from gathering participants to collecting and reporting structured feedback. Act as the main bridge between the community and internal teams, ensuring key feedback is communicated effectively. Support product launches, updates, and events through community announcements, engagement initiatives, and Q&A sessions. Identify community trends, issues, and sentiment to help shape development priorities and communication strategies. Work closely with marketing and development teams to deliver accurate and engaging community updates. ✅ Requirements Proven experience managing online communities, preferably within gaming or simulation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple channels and priorities simultaneously. Understanding of Discord moderation tools, server management, and community engagement best practices. A collaborative mindset, with confidence in liaising between internal developers, testers, and customers. Ability to work independently, proactively, and adapt to evolving situations. 💪 Preferred Qualifications & Traits Prior experience in a Community, QA, or Testing Management role within a simulation or gaming studio. Familiarity with Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, or similar platforms. Basic understanding of software testing workflows and bug reporting processes. Passion for aviation, simulation, and creating meaningful customer experiences. 🛠️ Tools & Platforms Discord (advanced understanding of management & moderation). Community forum software (Invision Community or similar). Airtable or equivalent project management tools. Microsoft Teams and Office suite. ❤️ What We Offer Competitive rates.
