ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Community Relations Executive who actively engages in digital communities (professional tech / trade associations) and online events in the Americas, focused on data, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, enterprise technologies, and innovation.

This role centres on relationship-driven lead generation, with active involvement in online events, discussions, and community platforms to build connections, uncover opportunities, and convert conversations into qualified customer and partner leads.

The candidate will have the opportunity to move up the sales ladder to conduct discovery calls, enable requirements capture, send proposal and even close deals.

This is a remote role for candidates from South America who are available at least 20 (negotiable up to 40) hours per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage and participate in digital communities and online events relevant to data, AI, digital transformation, and enterprise technology.
• Build and nurture relationships with industry professionals, researchers, thought leaders, and key decision makers.
• Identify and convert opportunities from community interactions into qualified customer and partner leads for the business.
• Represent the company at online events, discussions, and community platforms, promoting its expertise and solutions.
• Monitor trends and insights within professional ecosystems to inform strategic engagement and lead generation activities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Must-haves)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in lead generation, community engagement, account management, business development or any people facing roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, plus networking instincts and relationship-building skills.
• Strong follow-through with the ability to nurture conversations from first interaction to discovery call.
• High attention to detail and ability to identify alignment opportunities through observation and listening.
• Available to attend live online events in the Americas.
• Comfortable with expanding own LinkedIn network through this role.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Nice-to-haves)

• Proven experience in B2B or B2B2C lead generation for global technical markets.
• Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts (AI, data) at a conversational level.
• Comfortable representing a company in external communities, events, and industry forums.
• Ability to multitask across events, conversations, and follow-ups.
• Quick learner who can grasp new domains and industry nuances quickly.
• Familiarity with online event platforms, and community tools such as Discord, Slack or Basecamp.
• Exposure to AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Copilot to enhance work productivity.

• Starting base salary of £500 per month based on 20 hours per week (negotiable upwards to 40 hours per week). Lead generation incentives of £50 per qualified lead. Payments transferred in local currency after conversion.
• If moving up the sales ladder to help close deals in the future, you will also be eligible for substantial deal closure incentives.
