Community Services Director Careline Crisis Services is seeking a Community Services Director to lead programs and partnerships that strengthen support for Alaskans experiencing crisis and connect communities with meaningful resources and services. This position provides direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for the Tribal Liaison, Outreach Specialist, AfterCare Specialist, and Public Safety Liaison. The Community Services Director ensures programs meet established goals, grant deliverables, and contractual requirements while identifying opportunities to improve services and increase community impact. A key part of this role is building strong, collaborative relationships with Tribal organizations, healthcare systems, public safety agencies, behavioral health providers, state agencies, and community partners. The Director represents Careline in local, regional, and statewide coalitions and planning efforts and helps advance Alaska's crisis care continuum. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can build relationships, support staff, manage programs, and translate organizational goals into meaningful community outcomes. As a member of the Careline team, you will interact with clients, staff, and community partners in a respectful and empowering manner. You will model Careline's culture and values while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in psychology, social work, behavioral science, or a related field; two years of applicable work experience may be substituted. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in community engagement, partnership development, and systems collaboration. Experience supervising staff and managing programs. Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered practices. Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Public Health, Public Administration, Behavioral Health, or a related field; applicable experience may be substituted. Two or more years of experience implementing programs within Alaska in crisis services, behavioral health, healthcare, Tribal health, public safety, or nonprofit settings. Three or more years of experience in program supervision and leadership. Reports to: Executive Director Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Flexible schedule; occasional overtime, evenings, and weekends may be required. Salary: Range 41; exempt position. Location: This position may be filled as a fully remote role for the right applicant. This position may also be located out of either of our locations in Wasilla or Fairbanks, Alaska.
