Description Compliance Analyst Quorum Health Corporate Office (Remote Position) You must reside in one of these states to be eligible for this position: Arkansas    California    Kentucky Massachusetts Nevada    New Mexico Oregon     Utah     Tennessee Texas     Wyoming Position Summary: The Compliance Analyst supports the organization's Compliance and Privacy Program through auditing, monitoring, investigations, education, reporting, and administrative activities. This role assists in ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, supports compliance and privacy investigations, risk assessments, policy initiatives, exclusion screening, and training efforts; maintains program documentation; and serves as a resource to the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Directors, Facility Compliance Officers (FCOs), and Facility Privacy Officers (FPOs). Key Responsibilities: Provide support to the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Compliance and Privacy Directors, in areas related to compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and Quorum’s compliance and privacy policies and program. Conduct initial intake screening, documentation, and triage of Confidential Disclosure Hotline reported incidents, concerns, and allegations. Assist FCOs and FPOs with investigations by reviewing documentation, analyzing findings, maintaining investigative files, and preparing investigative summaries. Support breach assessment and notification activities, including documentation and preparation of required reporting materials. Respond to routine staff inquiries regarding privacy and compliance policies, procedures, and requirements. Develop educational materials, awareness communications, newsletters, and training resources related to compliance and privacy topics, and create education tracking reports. Support onboarding and training activities for Facility Privacy Officers, Facility Compliance Officers, and new employees as assigned. Assist in the review, maintenance, and revision of compliance and privacy policies, procedures, and related documentation. Provide administrative support for the Compliance and Privacy Program and Quorum Health Records Management Office by tracking inquiries, processing vendor invoices, and facilitating meetings. Assist with exclusion screening of providers and vendors. Analyze Compliance and Privacy Program data and create reports. Participate in compliance and privacy committees, meetings, and special projects as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical, organizational, and professional skills. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Self-starter who is eager to learn and can work independently and in a team environment. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including analyzing data and building reports in Excel. Knowledge of HIPAA, including breach notification protocol preferred. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education (associate’s degree) and relevant work experience. Minimum of two years of healthcare, compliance, data analytics, revenue cycle, or health information management experience. Pursue and maintain a relevant, privacy or compliance industry-recognized certification (CHPC, CHC, CHRC, etc.), recommended. Travel Requirements: Limited travel required. Approximately 10%.
