We are the Compliance Oversight and Program Advancement team, and our mission is to ensure the highest standards of compliance through continuous process improvement and the strategic use of advanced technologies. Our work is highly collaborative and project-based, partnering closely with teams across Regulatory Compliance to identify, develop, and implement innovative processes, analytics, and technology solutions that enhance efficiency, strengthen oversight, and improve management of key compliance risks.

In this role, you will help drive compliance program innovation through data analytics, dashboard development, process improvement, automation, and technology adoption. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex business problems, translating data into actionable insights, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness through emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate emerging technologies and analytics capabilities to identify opportunities that improve compliance oversight, risk monitoring, decision-making, and operational efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvement opportunities across Regulatory Compliance
Develop Power BI dashboards and analytical solutions using data housed in Databricks, including data exploration, SQL-based querying, data validation, dashboard design, and translating complex datasets into executive-level reporting and actionable business insights
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends, anomalies, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement
Support the implementation of strategies that streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance operational effectiveness while maintaining compliance standards
Identify opportunities to leverage automation and generative AI capabilities to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of compliance activities
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, dashboards, and process improvements, making recommendations for ongoing refinement
Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into practical reporting, process, and technology solutions
Collaborate with team members to provide support, documentation, and training related to new processes, dashboards, and technologies
Assist with change management efforts by developing process documentation, PowerPoint presentations, job aids, and training materials to support adoption of new capabilities

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable business insights
Demonstrated success identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, quality, or risk management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools, including Power BI and SQL; experience with Excel, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or similar analytics platforms
Experience working with Databricks-hosted data sources, including data exploration, SQL-based querying, data validation, and supporting reporting and analytics solutions
Experience partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions, reports, and dashboards

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field)
Experience developing workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate or similar automation platforms
Experience using generative AI tools to improve productivity, automate business processes, analyze data, or support decision-making
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, CMS regulations, and Department of Insurance requirements
Experience in compliance, audit, risk management, healthcare operations, or a similarly regulated environment
Experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments
Familiarity with Databricks Genie, Azure data services, or other modern AI-enabled analytics platforms
Experience developing executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and business performance metrics for senior leadership audiences
Additional Information
This role will report a Director of Compliance.
This role will not have domestic travel.
This role is an individual contributor.
This role will be hybrid office from the Louisville, KY Waterside building.
Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$65,000 - $88,600 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
