Our Shopper is a key member of our Concierge team — the person who keeps the wheels turning, the fridges stocked, the errands handled, and the unexpected requests under control. You’ll be trusted to represent MHLM while shopping, running errands, managing supplies, and helping our clients, properties, and team stay one step ahead. ✨ THE MHLM STANDARD The right person is someone who: Takes pride in doing things the right way Notices the little things others might miss Can move quickly without becoming careless Is comfortable working independently Has excellent judgment and knows when to ask questions Communicates clearly and professionally Understands that discretion and confidentiality matter Can roll with changing priorities and last-minute requests Shows up with a positive, can-do attitude 🛒 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Shopping & Errands You’ll be the go-to person for getting things where they need to go — efficiently, accurately, and with a high level of care. Responsibilities may include: Shopping for groceries, household supplies, client requests, seasonal items, and other approved purchases Picking up prescriptions and completing various errands Delivering items to clients, staff, or company properties Supporting managers and Property Attendants with time-sensitive requests Keeping track of receipts, mileage, and required documentation Adjusting priorities as client and company needs change Taking on additional tasks when needed to keep operations moving No two days are necessarily the same — and that's part of the fun. 🤝 Team Support & Communication You’ll interact with clients, vendors, managers, and coworkers, so professionalism and communication are key. You will: Communicate professionally by phone, email, chat, and in person Respond promptly to requests and updates Keep management informed of delays, issues, or concerns Follow MHLM policies, procedures, and health and safety standards Support the team wherever an extra set of capable hands is needed 🧠 Problem-Solving & Initiative Things don't always go according to plan. That's where you come in. We’re looking for someone who can think on their feet, make good decisions, and find solutions. You should be comfortable: Responding quickly to client and MHLM needs Handling changing priorities Identifying potential problems before they become bigger problems Knowing when to solve something independently and when to loop in management Taking initiative without needing constant direction ⏰ SCHEDULE & WORKING CONDITIONS This is an as-needed, variable-irregular hours position with no regular schedule or guaranteed hours. Assignments are based entirely on client and company needs. When an assignment becomes available, the Shopper may accept or decline it. Once accepted, the Shopper is expected to complete the assignment within the specified timeframe. Flexibility is important. Shoppers must be available for irregular and extended hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on client needs. The position may involve: Driving Standing, bending, twisting, and reaching Lifting up to 50 pounds Climbing stairs Walking or being on your feet for extended periods 🚗 DRIVER & INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS Because this role involves driving, you must have: A valid driver’s license A reliable personal vehicle available for Shopper duties Personal vehicle insurance meeting at least the minimum liability requirements of the State of Montana A copy of current vehicle insurance on file with HR Updated license and insurance documentation whenever changes occur A background check and driving record check will be completed prior to hire. 💰 WHAT MHLM OFFERS We believe great work deserves great perks.
