Configuration Quality Engineers ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of Avature implementations. Working closely with Consultants, Project Managers, Technical Services, Product Design, and other stakeholders, they validate solutions, identify risks, and help deliver high-quality customer outcomes through effective testing, analysis, and continuous improvement.
Your Challenges And Objectives
- Ensure Avature solutions meet functional, business, and quality requirements before delivery.
- Understand customer business processes and solution designs to identify risks, gaps, edge cases, and implementation issues.
- Define and execute testing approaches that balance quality, project timelines, and business priorities.
- Contribute to testing methodologies, quality standards, automation initiatives, and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve testing, analysis, productivity, and decision-making.
- Promote QA culture and continuous improvement across the organization.
Your Day-to-day Activities
- Collaborate with Consultants, Project Managers, and Technical Services to understand requirements and testing needs.
- Review solution designs and configurations to identify risks and areas requiring validation.
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test suites, and validation activities.
- Perform functional, integration, API, and data testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
- Analyze logs and investigate, document, and communicate defects, inconsistencies, and quality concerns.
- Validate fixes and support resolution efforts with implementation and technical teams.
- Provide feedback on solution designs, specifications, configurations, and expected functionality.
- Contribute to automation initiatives, process improvements, and the sharing of testing best practices.
- Use AI-enabled tools to support analysis, test design, documentation, and quality-related decision-making.
About You
- Strong analytical thinking and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Solid experience in functional testing across web and/or enterprise applications.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience testing integrations, APIs, and interconnected systems is a plus.
- Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work and genuinely interested in staying up to date with emerging AI capabilities.
