Job Description This is a remote position. Quick facts: ₱90,000–₱110,000/month · Full-Time · Work From Home · Australian hours (day shift) · Direct-hire employee role You'll be the person who turns a set of drawings into a number the business can stand behind — and then turns that number into purchase orders, trade letting and a clean handover to site. This role covers residential estimating end-to-end for an Australian custom home builder: take-offs and BOQs from architectural and structural drawings, subcontractor pricing and negotiation, tender submissions, and variation pricing. As the business grows, the role is expected to move toward a more dedicated estimating focus. This is suited to someone who already estimates independently — who can pick up a drawing set, produce a defensible cost plan without hand-holding, and knows when to flag an assumption rather than guess past it. Beyond the pricing, you'll gain real ownership: converting your own estimates into structured purchase orders and trade contracts, building and refining the company's rate books, and helping shape how estimating-to-site handover works as the business scales. This is a name-on-the-work role, not a data-entry seat inside someone else's estimate. What You'll Do ● Prepare detailed trade breakups and cost estimates from architectural, engineering and compliance documentation ● Complete accurate quantity take-offs and material calculations ● Source, compare and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing ● Prepare tender submissions and pricing summaries, and manage budget alignment and margin control ● Price variations and assess cost impact ● Convert approved estimates into structured purchase orders with clearly defined scopes ● Support pre-construction coordination — tracking approvals, certifications and documentation ahead of site start ● Prepare and manage subcontract agreements, and track subcontractor insurances, licences and compliance ● Support progress claims, cost reporting and financial forecasting Requirements What You'll Need ● At least 5 years where estimating — take-offs, BOQs, cost planning — has been your primary job function, not a secondary duty inside a site or project engineering role ● Demonstrated experience independently preparing take-offs and BOQs from architectural and structural drawings ● Experience handling subcontractor pricing comparisons and negotiation ● Experience with purchase orders, trade letting, and variations documentation ● Genuine contract administration experience — subcontract agreements, compliance tracking, progress claims ● Proven experience supporting an Australian residential construction business ● Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel ● Strong written and verbal English communication skills ● Willing to work full-time, Australian business hours, WFH Preferred ● Experience with Wunderbuild ● Familiarity with BASIX, BAL ratings, or DA/CDC/CC processes ● Experience on custom single-dwelling residential projects specifically ● Prior experience in an offshore/BPO construction support role Benefits What's On Offer Offshore 24/7 has been placing Filipino professionals with Australian businesses since 2008 — 500+ professionals placed, with a Glassdoor rating of 4.9/5 and a Google rating of 5.0.
