Job Title: Construction Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of multiple concurrent retrofit, renovation, expansion, and tenant improvement projects across the U.S. fulfillment and industrial facilities network. This role encompasses full project lifecycle management, from preconstruction planning through construction execution, commissioning, and operational handoff. Responsibilities Manage approximately 5-10 projects simultaneously, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and project delivery. Partner closely with architects, engineers, design consultants, contractors, and internal business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards. Drive preconstruction efforts including budgeting, estimating, design reviews, scheduling, constructability reviews, and risk management. Oversee construction execution, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements. Negotiate and manage construction, procurement, and labor contracts. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain delivery commitments. Provide project reporting, financial updates, forecasts, and executive-level communication. Support fulfillment centers, distribution facilities, manufacturing environments, and industrial operations across assigned regions. Travel approximately 20% to project sites, typically within a regional territory. Essential Skills End-to-End Construction & Preconstruction Management. Proven experience managing projects from concept and design through construction, commissioning, and operational handoff. Multi-Project Management in Retrofit / Tenant Improvement Environments. Successfully managed 5-10 concurrent projects in fast-paced operational environments. Industrial / Commercial Construction Expertise. Experience supporting fulfillment centers, distribution centers, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and large commercial facilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related technical field. Experience managing commercial and/or industrial construction projects. Proven ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and design teams. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships. Contract negotiation and procurement experience. Ability to travel regionally as needed. Work Environment This position offers a flexible, fully remote work environment with approximately 20% travel required. The candidate will manage 5-10 projects at a time, with 3-4 months of preconstruction work followed by 6-8 weeks of on-site construction. The role requires travel to project sites, which can be adapted to fit the individual's schedule. Preferred locations include Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Texas, Illinois, the Midwest, and the Northeast. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $68.00/hr.
