We are seeking a talented individual to join our Forensic Accounting & Claims Service team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Korea. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Consultants within the Forensic Accounting & Claims Service team are responsible for managing an allocated client base and providing advice on significant or problematic losses for clients across a wide range of industry sectors. This role will involve claim investigation and claim file preparation, quantification of actual loss, investigation and resolution of coverage issues, and negotiation with insurers to reach an agreeable settlement. We will count on you to: Work with clients to understand and quantify the loss incurred Prepare claims files for large loss submissions, ensuring all relevant loss considerations are included Work with clients, insurers, and loss adjusters to reach an agreeable settlement What you need to have: Bachelor's degree or diploma qualification in accounting. Accounting qualifications, or working towards a qualification, would be an advantage 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting, audit, or professional services; prior experience in claims, accounting, or loss adjusting would be preferred Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an enquiring mind and an interest in forensic accounting Willingness to learn, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good verbal and written communication skills What makes you stand out: Fresh CPA candidates with strong drive and interest in building a forensic accounting career Experience working with clients and insurers on major, complex, disputed, or catastrophic losses Experience in property, liability, and/or business interruption claims Proficiency in MS Office applications Local language capability for the relevant market Ability to work independently as well as within a team Why join our team: We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
