ITNX is hiring on behalf of a global consulting firm.
Our client is a values-led consulting firm differentiated by how it works: client centricity, global thinking, and corporate agility. They operate as one firm no service-line politics and apply design thinking across everything they do. They are now building out their Australian market capability and are looking for an experienced management consultant to lead engagements and own client relationships.
This is a full-time, permanent role.
Who we're looking for
Consulting experience is essential. You will have built your career in a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or a recognised boutique / specialist consulting practice — strategy, management, engineering or advisory. Candidates without prior consulting firm experience will not be considered for this role.
What you'll do
• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of consulting engagements across strategy, operations, process improvement and transformation
• Manage multiple workstreams to quality, budget and schedule
• Run current-state assessments, process mapping and future-state operating model design
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder consultations; synthesise complexity into clear, actionable recommendations
• Build trusted client relationships and support proposals, presentations and follow-on work
• Coach and mentor consultants and senior consultants, and review work products for quality
What you'll bring
• 5–8 years' professional experience, with a substantial portion gained inside a Big 4 or boutique consulting firm
• Demonstrated delivery of consulting projects to external clients, managing workstreams or small-to-medium engagements
• Strong business analysis, structured problem solving and process improvement capability
• Project management, financial and commercial analysis, and risk assessment
• Understanding of AI tools and how to apply them in client work
• Excellent executive-level written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, Economics or related. MBA or postgraduate qualification advantageous
Highly desirable
Exposure to energy and utilities, LNG and natural gas, renewable fuels and decarbonisation, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, ports and logistics, power generation, major capital projects, or Indigenous partnership and infrastructure initiatives.
Location & hours
Flexible location, but you must primarily serve Australian markets and be available for most working hours in the Eastern time zone. Full-time, permanent engagement
