Apply Description PURPOSE STATEMENT: Blueroot Health is seeking a Consumer Insights & Analytics Manager to lead the data, analytics, and insights work that informs innovation, brand strategy, and commercial decisions across all Blueroot Health brands, including Vital Nutrients, Fairhaven Health and Bariatric Fusion. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role integrates consumer, practitioner, brand, category, and performance evidence to inform where BRH invests, launches, and grows. You will build the data, analytics, and insights capability that brings consumer, practitioner, category, and performance evidence into decision-making — partnering with Brand, Innovation, Sales, and E-commerce to ensure strategic decisions are grounded in robust evidence. This is a hands-on role for someone who is hungry for data and able to build and execute the right programs to collect qualitative and quantitative signals, translate them into clear business recommendations, and land them with all stakeholders. WHAT YOU’LL DO (MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES): Build a right-sized data, analytics, and insights program for BRH — combining syndicated data and industry reports (where they earn their cost), platform and retail data (Circana, Stackline, Amazon back end, retailer.com data, DTC platform data), and primary consumer research (panels, brand tracking, concept and claims testing) — and manage the external vendors, panels, and providers needed to deliver findings that drive action, not decks. Own customer cohort, LTV, CAC, and retention analyses across brands — partnering closely with the E-commerce Analyst on operational data and with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis on commercial reconciliation to the P&L — synthesizing a strategic performance view for the CMO and executive leadership. Maintain a running view of category, consumer, practitioner, and competitive trends across supplements and adjacent wellness — including emerging and unmet needs, competitive dynamics, format and ingredient innovation, and channel shifts — and partner with Brand and Innovation to translate these signals into strategic implications and opportunities. Own the research and insights program supporting innovation and brand strategy end-to-end — consumer AND HCP concept validation for the pipeline, ongoing brand health tracking across all Blueroot Health brands, and post-launch performance monitoring — closing the loop on whether new and existing initiatives deliver as intended. Generate and apply HCP insights to understand practitioner needs and recommendation drivers, competitive and distributor dynamics, and emerging trends shaping the professional supplement channel. Partner closely with the Brand Managers and CMO to support forward-looking brand strategies with the appropriate consumer and category evidence, embed insights into brand planning cycles, and actively monitor the performance of new and existing initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU’LL NEED (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Progressive professional experience across brand management, consumer insights, market research, ecommerce analytics, category management, or closely related disciplines — with a clear trajectory of increasing scope, complexity, and strategic contribution. Experience in consumer products, CPG, DTC, health & wellness, beauty, food & beverage, or an adjacent consumer category. Demonstrated experience working with consumer insights and category data — syndicated (Circana, SPINS, Nielsen, or similar), retail and platform data (Amazon back end, Stackline, retailer.com), and primary research inputs — with a track record of synthesizing multiple sources into clear business recommendations. Direct experience designing primary consumer research (concept testing, brand tracking, segmentation, U&A) is a plus; candidates with strong data-synthesis backgrounds who can grow into research program design are encouraged to apply. Strong writing, executive communication, and storytelling skills — able to translate research findings into clear, prioritized business recommendations that land with all stakeholders. Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint / Keynote; hands-on proficiency with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar); comfort working with syndicated data platforms, retail / ecommerce platform data, and DTC platform data (Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo) — candidates without direct DTC exposure but with strong retail-CPG analytics will be considered. Self-directed work ethic and ability to operate independently on open-ended strategic questions. Intellectual honesty about the limits of research — knows what a study can and can’t say, and communicates uncertainty responsibly. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Industry experience in supplements, vitamins & minerals (VMS), functional foods, or an adjacent regulated wellness category. Familiarity with the healthcare practitioner (HCP) channel unique to professional-grade supplements — distributor dynamics (Fullscript, Emerson Ecologics), practitioner segments (integrative and functional medicine, naturopathy, nutrition and dietetics, bariatric clinical settings), and competitive practitioner-brand landscape. Experience supporting an innovation pipeline through stage-gate decision-making. Experience working under regulated claims environments (DSHEA, FDA, FTC) and translating consumer research into claim-safe language. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel for business needs, including meetings, trainings, and company events. Extended periods of sitting and focused computer-based work. Repetitive tasks, including typing and prolonged screen time. Maintaining composure, focus, and effectiveness in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
