We are looking for a creative and hands-on Content Creator to help us tell the Nkaise story through engaging, relatable, and high-quality video content across our digital platforms.

About the Role

As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing and creating content that brings Nkaise, our products and services, and the businesses we serve to life.

You will work closely with the marketing team to turn ideas, business insights, product information, and African trade topics into content that people want to watch, share, and engage with.

This role is ideal for someone who understands social media, enjoys storytelling, is comfortable in front of the camera, and can take an idea from concept to finished content.

What You'll Do

· Be the primary on-camera face and voice of Nkaise, confidently presenting and telling stories about the brand, its products and the African business ecosystem.

· Research and develop simple, engaging scripts, hooks, and storylines for video content.

· Create engaging short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

· Shoot and edit video content using a smartphone and relevant editing tools.

· Develop relatable and creative ways to communicate business, trade, and product topics to Nkaise's audience.

· Stay up to date with social media trends and identify relevant trends that can be adapted for Nkaise.

· Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute content ideas and campaigns.

· Maintain consistency in the quality, tone, and visual direction of Nkaise's content.

· Organise content assets and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.

· Review content performance and use insights to improve future content.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

· Creative and naturally curious.

· A strong storyteller with a good understanding of social media.

· Confident and engaging in front of the camera.

· Comfortable using a smartphone to shoot quality videos.

· Proficient with video editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, Canva, or similar tools.

· Able to develop engaging hooks, scripts, and storylines.

· Able to identify and creatively adapt relevant social media trends.

· Organised, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.

· Interested in business, entrepreneurship, technology, trade, or the African business ecosystem.

Previous experience creating content for a brand, startup, or personal brand is an advantage.

A portfolio or examples of previous content are required.
