Role Description The Content Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the planning, creation, and management of all content that supports JAPAN LANGUAGE FACTORY’s learning programs and brand presence. Day-to-day tasks include defining content strategy, setting editorial direction, and aligning content initiatives with business and educational goals. The person in this role will lead content development for digital courses, learning materials, marketing campaigns, and social media, ensuring that all content is consistent, engaging, and pedagogically sound. They will collaborate with teachers, marketers, and designers to create and refine content, manage content workflows and calendars, and analyze performance data to optimize future content. The Content Director will also maintain quality standards, guide contributors with clear guidelines, and ensure that all content reflects the company’s mission to help learners speak natural Japanese in real-life situations.
