Content Manager

We run one of the fastest growing geopolitical news operations on YouTube (0 to 350K+ subscribers in 12 months, daily output, millions of monthly views). We're hiring the person who runs it day to day.

THE ROLE

You own the daily operation of a high-volume news channel. The production team reports to you. Quality control is yours: nothing ships until you've checked it. You are the final set of eyes before content reaches the client and the audience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Run the daily production pipeline: lives, cuts, shorts, uploads, on schedule, every day

* Quality control every deliverable: timing, glitches, captions, visuals, thumbnails. You catch what others miss.

* Manage and coordinate a remote team of producers and editors across multiple time zones

* Build and enforce production standards: checklists, error logs, documented processes

* Handle client communication: updates, requests, revisions, delivered same day

* Report weekly to the founder with numbers, issues, and fixes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* 2+ years managing video production, post-production, or a YouTube channel operation

* Obsessive attention to detail. You notice a half-second audio desync. You cannot help it.

* Strong written and spoken English, confident communicating with a demanding client

* Calm under daily deadlines. News does not wait and neither do you.

* Experience with remote team management across time zones

* YouTube-native: you understand retention, CTR, packaging, and what makes content work on the platform
