Content Marketing Manager

Role Description The Content Marketing Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping and executing the content marketing strategy for Elephant In The Room. This role involves planning and managing editorial calendars, developing campaigns that highlight key social and workplace issues, and creating engaging content across web, email, social media, and community channels. The Content Marketing Manager will analyze performance metrics, optimize content based on insights, and collaborate with contributors, designers, and partners to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice. The role also includes audience growth initiatives, managing content distribution, and nurturing an online community that values open, respectful discussion.

Qualifications

• Content strategy and planning skills, including managing editorial calendars and multi-channel campaigns.
• Strong writing and editing skills for digital content, with experience in storytelling and audience engagement.
• Knowledge of digital marketing practices, such as SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, and analytics.
• Experience with community-building, online forums, or social platforms that encourage discussion and dialogue.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Comfort engaging with sensitive or complex topics in a thoughtful, inclusive, and respectful manner.
• Proficiency with content management systems and basic design or multimedia tools is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
