Content and SEO Strategist: Auto Insurance

MoneyGeek is looking for a content producer who can help our grow our auto insurance vertical. Thanks for considering our team.

MUST HAVES (please don't apply without this background)

• Significant experience building content in the insurance or personal finance space for a US audience. Big plus for those who have built content specifically in the auto insurance market or other insurance product.
• Intermediate or better SEO skillset for creating and optimizing content and performance tracking via Google Search Console and AhRefs.
• Experience using AI tools for work efficiency, data analysis, and editing.

What You'll Do: In this role, you'll be the driving force behind MoneyGeek's insurance content strategy. You'll create compelling, user-focused content that not only educates our audience but directly contributes to growing our user base and driving significant traffic to our platform. Your work will have a measurable impact on our business growth as you develop content that resonates with users seeking insurance guidance.

HOURS & COMPENSATION

• Remote Position that requires 2-4 hours of work day overlap with US time zone.
• Role is a full-time, long term, contractor position
• 75-110k PHP per month / $1400 to $1800 USD per month based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging, user focused content for our auto insurance vertical
• Perform SEO research and competitive analysis to identify and act on new opportunities (i.e. gap analysis)
• Experiment and iterate, identifying creative solutions to increase visibility to key pages
• Recommend larger-scale content updates to improve SEO opportunity against high-value keyword targets
• Develop and execute comprehensive internal linking strategies

Requirements:

• 4-7+ years of content production experience, preferably in the personal finance / insurance industry
• Strong editing background
• Capable of working in Strapi (our CMS) to improve content quality and dial in user intent through reorganization of content, addition/deletion of data, and other improvements to result in clarity for the user.
• Experience applying SEO best practices to content including: On page optimization, performance tracking, and competitor analysis.
• Must be okay with 2-3 hours a day work hours overlap with EST U.S. time zone, but candidates who can work more U.S. hours will receive special consideration.
