Contentful Developer - Fixed Term Contract Seeking a Contentful specialist to join our established tech team on an enterprise-scale digital transformation project At Dijitally, we’re passionate about helping businesses grow through smart, sustainable digital solutions. We're looking for a Contentful Developer to join our tech squad on a major digital transformation project. About the role We're looking for a hands-on Contentful specialist to join a digital transformation initiative, responsible for supporting architecture and implementing a scalable headless CMS solution that integrates with our broader tech stack. What You'll Do Design and implement Contentful content models, spaces, and environments aligned with business requirements Build and maintain integrations between Contentful and frontend frameworks (React/Next.js, Vue, etc.) and backend services via REST/GraphQL APIs Develop custom scripts (content type creation / migration) for automation using the Contentful App Framework and CMA/CDA SDKs Collaborate with content strategists, designers, and engineers to define scalable content structures Optimise content delivery performance and manage localisation/multi-locale setups Support migration of legacy content into Contentful Ensure best practices around content governance, webhooks, and CI/CD pipelines for content operations What You'll Need 3–5+ years of experience with Contentful (or similar headless CMS) in production environments Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills; experience with modern frontend frameworks Familiarity with Contentful's Content Management API (CMA), Content Delivery API (CDA), and GraphQL API Experience with content modeling for scale and reusability Understanding of API-first/headless architecture principles Bonus: experience with Contentful Merge, Apps SDK, or migration tooling Nice to Have Prior experience in digital transformation or replatforming projects Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD workflows for content and code deployment How we work: This is a remote role, with core working hours aligned to the Australian AEST time zone.
