Contract Attorney

Requirements Responsibilities: Conduct legal research to support litigation Provide legal advice to clients with consumer debt Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and opposing counsel Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations Collaborate and support staff to achieve case goals Experience: Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and agreements Strong analytical skills Experience with law office software and tools Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work Work Location: Rhode Island Job Type: 1099 Contract Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate Expected hours: 2-5 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday License/Certification: Rhode Island Bar (Required)
