COORDINATOR, NETWORK OPERATIONS, GAME PLAN Headquartered in Toronto and MontrÉal, the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is a national, private, not-for-profit organization committed to high-performance sports excellence. We are the largest private supporter of high-performance sport in Canada and we are responsible for all aspects of Canada’s involvement in the Olympic Movement, including the participation in the Olympic and Pan American Games Reporting to the Manager, Strategy & Experience, Game Plan the Coordinator, Network Operations provides administrative, digital and project coordination support across the Game Plan team including the Clinical Mental Health Manager. The coordinator would be responsible for producing mental health resources. Game Plan is Canada’s holistic athlete-support network. Established in 2015, Game Plan is a globally leading initiative which functions in collaboration with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC), Sport Canada and the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Sport Institute Network (COPSIN). Success in the Coordinator, Network Operations role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to supporting team operations, digital resources, and stakeholder communications. LOCATION This position will be located in one of the COC’s offices (Montréal, QC, at 500 René-Lévesque Boulevard West; or in Toronto, ON at 250 Yonge St. Suite 3000). We offer a hybrid work model that allows for up to two days of remote work each week. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRIORITIES Communications & Digital Support Develop and update Game Plan resources and materials. Draft and coordinate communications, including newsletter and social media content development, publishing and scheduling. Update and maintain website content and digital resources. Project & Operational Support Coordinate logistics for Game Plan events, meetings, and national initiatives, including registrations, travel, accommodations. Support the Clinical Mental Health Manager in coordinating the Mental Health Network, initiatives and related resources. Support the Family & Friends program for Team Canada at the Olympic Games, including maintenance of the Family & Friends portal. Digital Platforms & Systems Maintain shared digital platforms and project management tools (including Basecamp, Slack, Asana, Sharepoint and Google Drive). Manage and maintain Salesforce data, shared inboxes and distribution lists. Administrative Support Schedule meetings and prepare agendas and materials. Record meeting minutes, track action items and manage follow ups. Support reporting, presentations and general administrative coordination. QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITICAL SKILLS Skills and Abilities: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in both English and French an asset. Comfortable learning and managing a variety of digital collaboration and content management platforms. Experience coordinating projects, meetings and events. Experience managing website content using a content management system as an asset. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability and willingness to travel and occasionally work evenings, weekends, or statutory holidays, as required. Having used Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems an asset. Knowledge of the Canadian high-performance sport system and its key stakeholders is an asset. Education and Experience: Degree in sport administration, education, business or a related field 2+ years related experience Experience as an athlete on Canada’s Olympic, Paralympic or National Team, or working with high level athletes Sport system work or volunteer experience COMPENSATION The expected salary range for this role is $47,800 to $65,670 per year. The base pay within this range is based on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal pay equity, and market benchmarks.
