Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities that advance Asfour Crystal’s community and brand initiatives. This role includes recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers, as well as maintaining accurate volunteer records and communication channels. The coordinator will develop and deliver volunteer training materials, provide ongoing guidance, and ensure volunteers have clear expectations and the resources needed to succeed. Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, coordinating virtual and community outreach events, and monitoring volunteer engagement and feedback. The role also requires preparing brief reports on volunteer program outcomes, helping refine processes, and promoting a positive, inclusive volunteer experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Management skills, including experience with volunteer coordination, scheduling, and record-keeping.
• Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Training, including developing training materials and delivering clear guidance to diverse volunteer groups.
• Candidates should possess Communication and Interpersonal Skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and convey information professionally in written and verbal formats.
• Candidates should possess Community Outreach skills, including engaging community partners, supporting outreach initiatives, and promoting volunteer opportunities.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in nonprofit or community programs, proficiency with digital collaboration tools, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Relevant education or training in social work, communications, public administration, or a related field is an advantage, though equivalent experience in volunteer coordination is also valued.
