Description Organization Description The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) is the national trade association for the solar and storage industry and represents more than 1,000 member companies and an industry workforce of more than 255,000 across the United States. Position Summary The Coordinator, Policy Operations is responsible for general administrative duties to support the teams under the Senior Vice President, Policy. The position reports to the Vice President, State Affairs, and will work in close collaboration with other SEIA departments, including State Affairs, Policy Analysis, Technical Services, Regulatory Affairs, Research, Communications, and Membership. The ideal candidate should have the desire and demeanor to be able to work across departments, have strong organizational skills, literacy with databases and be a self-starter. The successful candidate must be able to build relationships and be a natural collaborator. Core Duties and Responsibilities Assist with developing and tracking contracts for consultants, lobbyists, and partners within the SEIA software (HighQ) Enter regulatory filings into repositories/databases (HighQ, or FERC tracker) Assist in filing of FERC interventions Potentially manage legislative tracker Assist the technical services team with training program reviews to determine compliance with a published national standard Support SEIA recycling partner program Participate in or manage research and analysis projects on technical subjects Serve as lead in upkeep of listservs in Salesforce/Sphere (CRM platforms) Update web pages for the team (identify the content to be updated with SMEs) Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, webinars Answer general Q&A about solar energy, SEIA, etc. Develop agendas, take call notes Assist in PowerPoint and formatting of documents Other related projects and duties as required Requirements Professional Experience, Education & Other Qualifications A bachelor’s degree is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, critical, thinking, and analytical skills, and client communication. Database / CRM software skills a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Self-starter – can work independently and remotely. Working Conditions Position is full-time. This position is based in the Washington, D.C. office. SEIA employees in the Washington, D.C. region follow a hybrid remote and in-person office model. Employees are expected to work a minimum of 3 days a week in SEIA’s offices (or engaged in in-person meetings on behalf of SEIA). Compensation Range $50,000-$55,000 annually, based on experience, and excellent benefits package.
