Evaluate and resolve assigned ad hoc accounting matters across core accounting areas, including prepaid expenses, payroll-related entries, and bonus accruals, by researching account activity, determining appropriate corrective action, and recording related journal entries and support as needed. · Apply working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and established accounting policies to support the evaluation of assigned accounting matters, including researching and documenting the impact of new or updated accounting guidance as needed. On a monthly basis, perform balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, analyze account balances and reconciling items, assess whether supporting documentation is complete and appropriate, and determine or recommend corrective actions to resolve reconciling items on a timely basis. Perform budget-to-actual and period-over-period variance analyses for assigned accounts and business areas by identifying significant fluctuations and preparing clear explanations for management review. Support the parent company’s financial statement audit by preparing assigned schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation, and by coordinating timely responses to audit requests with internal teams.
