Position Summary We are seeking a highly strategic and entrepreneurial Corporate Development Manager to identify, originate, and evaluate new growth and acquisition opportunities. This role will require close collaboration with the executive team, private equity partners, and both internal and external stakeholders to proactively source deal flow, build relationships with potential targets, and develop compelling investment theses. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in business development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and market analysis, as well as a proven ability to drive new opportunities from initial outreach through to deal execution. The Corporate Development Manager will be responsible for driving the full deal origination cycle, including proactive outreach, opportunity evaluation, and supporting deal execution. This role will report directly to the CEO and will serve as a critical point person for finance, operations, human resources and task management within the process. Responsibilities Proactively source and originate new acquisition and growth opportunities by building and maintaining a pipeline of targets, leveraging industry networks, attending conferences, and conducting outbound outreach to potential partners and acquisition candidates. Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis to identify attractive sectors, whitespace opportunities, and potential targets; develop and maintain proprietary deal flow databases and tracking tools. Partner with the executive team and private equity partner to develop investment theses. Manage deal processes from first contact through letter of intent, coordinating external and internal stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for the board and executive leadership as it relates to investment opportunities. Qualifications & Specifications 3-5 years’ experience (preference for experience in business development, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or transaction-related roles with a focus on deal origination and sourcing). Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, especially in unstructured environments, with a proven ability to navigate challenges and turn them into opportunities for growth. Project management expertise, including strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously. Experience in preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership, ensuring clear communication of strategic opportunities, risks, and recommendations. Work Environment and Schedule Remote with requirement to attend in-office meetings as applicable. Some requirements to occasionally work before and after normal business hours/business work week, based on the demands of work and client availability. Occasional travel to company sites / meetings as needed. Compensation Package We offer a competitive salary with the potential for a discretionary bonus based on performance. Enjoy generous paid time off to support work-life balance and personal well-being. Access to a full suite of medical, health, and dental benefits to ensure you and your family are well taken care of. Receive reimbursement for cellphone expenses to stay connected and efficient. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our company. With our company continuously expanding, this role provides the opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership, drive key business decisions, and make a lasting impact on the future of the organization. If you are looking for a dynamic position where you can take ownership of the M&A strategy and be a key player in shaping our company’s growth, we encourage you to apply! Please note: Due to the nature of this position, the successful candidate will undergo comprehensive background checks. Additionally, proof of education and professional accreditation will be required.
