A DAY IN THE LIFE The Corporate Investigations Manager is a senior individual contributor and the Company’s subject matter expert for leading and conducting complex, sensitive, and high-impact corporate investigations across the organization. This role serves as the primary investigative resource for matters involving potential violations of law, regulation, Company policy, the Code of Conduct, or ethical standards, including fraud, bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, financial misconduct, falsification of records, misuse of Company assets, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence or threats, abuse of authority, serious safety-related misconduct, regulatory violations, and other significant allegations. The role independently manages investigations from intake and investigative planning through interviews, evidence analysis, findings, reporting, escalation, and remediation follow-up, exercising latitude and independence in assignments while maintaining fairness, consistency, confidentiality, and appropriate investigative independence. Problems addressed in this role are difficult to complex, frequently ambiguous, and require in-depth evaluation, sound judgment, and the ability to determine the appropriate course of action with limited direction. In addition to investigations, the role plans and conducts risk-based compliance audits, reviews, and monitoring activities; identifies trends, control gaps, and systemic issues; and supports broader Corporate Compliance initiatives and special projects. This position maintains a visible and trusted Compliance presence at project sites through frequent travel, in-person interviews, site visits, training, listening sessions, and direct engagement with employees and leaders in both English and Spanish. The role partners closely with Employee Relations, Legal, Internal Controls, Safety, Operations, Quanta, and other stakeholders, coordinates with outside counsel when appropriate on matters involving legal risk, regulatory exposure, or attorney-client privilege, and influences stakeholders outside the direct area of responsibility regarding investigation-related policies, practices, and procedures. This role does not have direct reports but provides technical guidance, coaching, and quality review to less experienced professionals and cross-functional contributors supporting investigative and monitoring work.
