We're looking for a dynamic Correspondent to join our Tech, Media & Telecommunications team in Bangalore. This is a great opportunity to drive coverage of some of the world's biggest technology companies and to deliver smart stories with the sort of investable insight our buy-side clients demand. You'll cover a raft of front-page stories, from the AI race among Big Tech to Nvidia's dominance in chips and the latest twists in the Elon Musk saga, switching seamlessly from media behemoths like Walt Disney and Netflix to interviewing the CEO of the next big startup or delving into the nitty-gritty of large-language models. About the Role: As a Correspondent, TMT, you will: Participate actively in big breaking stories and help us stay ahead of the competition at key moments in developing stories, using strong sourcing. Build a track record of consistently breaking stories and delivering market-moving exclusives. Be innovative and flexible in providing coverage by suggesting improvements, challenging accepted norms and introducing new ways of storytelling. Develop strong links with reporters and editors in North America. Take an active role in mentoring new and junior members and demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills. About You: You're a fit for the role of Correspondent, TMT if your background includes: A proven track record of covering spot stories with the accuracy, speed, context and freedom from bias that our customers demand. Should have 3+ years of experience The ability to develop strong contacts in the sector to break news and write smart follow-up pieces in response to spot developments. An ability to write with clarity, speed and expertise, which is essential to this role. Strong communication skills to work effectively with colleagues in North America and around the world, enabling smooth collaboration on stories. Knowledge of the tech or media industries, which is an advantage, though not essential.
