COST ACCOUNTANT

Maintain and update standard costs for manufactured products, including monthly and annual inventory revaluations. Calculate and validate standard costs for new part numbers. Analyze cost variances, inventory movements, and historical cost data to support internal stakeholders. Prepare daily manufacturing finance reports (inventory levels, absorption, manufacturing expenses, earned hours). Perform inventory reconciliations by part number and location. Support scrap recovery processes by reconciling supplier billings against scrap manifests. Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries in Oracle. Prepare financial and cost-related reports for management review. Participate in internal and external audits, including WIP and quarantine inventory reviews. Bachelor’s degree in accounting 2 years of experience in accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance. Solid knowledge of accounting principles and inventory accounting. Intermediate English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking). Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment. Knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation and reconciliation, and cost variance analysis. Experience using ERP systems (Oracle or similar). Experience using financial reporting or consolidation tools integrated with Excel (e.g., SmartView, Hyperion, or similar). Experience supporting audits or compliance activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. Proactive mindset with attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
