Role Description

The Cost Control Specialist (Luxury) will oversee cost management processes for 2-TIMES’ luxury retail and event-based operations, ensuring financial efficiency while supporting premium service standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking and analyzing costs across projects and departments, preparing cost reports, monitoring budget variance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize spending. The specialist will support cost accounting activities, validate vendor invoices and contracts, and recommend cost-saving measures without compromising brand quality or client experience. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The role requires close coordination with finance, procurement, operations, and leadership to maintain accurate cost data and inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong cost control and cost management skills, with experience implementing cost optimization initiatives in a retail, luxury, or similar environment.
• Proficiency in cost reporting and cost accounting, including preparing detailed cost analyses, budgeting, and variance reports.
• Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and present clear recommendations to stakeholders.
• Comfort working with financial and ERP tools or spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) to manage and track costs and budgets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in cost control or accounting are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin; additional languages relevant to the region are a plus.
• Experience in luxury retail, eCommerce, or event-based businesses and familiarity with the Dubai and regional market is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, collaborating with both local and remote teams in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
