Job Title: Cost Manager Job Description We are seeking a skilled Cost Manager to support construction operations through staffing initiatives, modeling, analysis, and presentations. The role involves monitoring cost drivers, identifying areas of greatest impact, and supporting the development of capital budgets and financial projections. You will conduct detailed variance analysis of financial results, research and summarize financial transactions for periodic reporting, and prepare written and verbal explanations. Experience in the energy sector or construction industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and index match functions. Experience with estimation, forecasting, and cost management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Bluebeam and Procore. Ability to work on projects ranging from $200,000 to $1 million in budget. Work Environment The position requires working out of the client office in mid-town Atlanta from Monday to Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays. You will have the opportunity to work on projects of various sizes and complexity for globally renowned clients, with multiple divisions available for career progression including Commercial, Power & Renewables, Nuclear, Industrial, Transportation, and Water. You will be part of a strong team of expert peers who provide mentorship and growth opportunities. The role involves collaboration with key stakeholders such as cost engineers, planners, estimators, project managers, engineers, contractors, and construction stakeholders. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a high likelihood of extension. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $72.16/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
