Creative Team (Art Director & Copywriter)

Salary:
R120,000 - R130,000 per month, per person
We're looking for an established
Senior Creative Team
—an Art Director and Copywriter who already work exceptionally well together—to join our growing creative division supporting leading UK and international brands.
This is not a traditional agency role. You'll become a dedicated creative team embedded within a portfolio of global clients, producing integrated campaigns across digital, social, brand, content, and advertising.
We're looking for creatives who combine world-class conceptual thinking with modern creative workflows, including the intelligent use of AI to enhance ideation, production, research and execution.
What You'll Do
Develop breakthrough creative concepts from brief to execution.
Produce integrated campaigns across digital, social, print, video and experiential.
Present ideas confidently to internal stakeholders and clients.
Create compelling brand storytelling and campaign messaging.
Develop copy across advertising, digital, social, web, CRM, video and thought leadership.
Create visually exceptional creative work aligned with strategic objectives.
Collaborate closely with strategists, designers, producers and account teams.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, content creation, concept development and creative production while maintaining exceptional creative quality.
Use AI as a creative partner—not a replacement for strategic thinking or original ideas.
Maintain exceptional creative standards while delivering at pace.
Contribute to pitches, new business opportunities and creative innovation.
What We're Looking For
Art Director
8+ years' experience in an advertising agency or creative studio.
Outstanding portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and craft.
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and modern AI-assisted creative workflows.
Experience using tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Runway, Kling, Veo, or similar AI platforms.
Strong experience across integrated campaigns.
Digital-first mindset with exceptional typography, layout and visual storytelling skills.
Copywriter
8+ years' experience writing for major brands.
Exceptional conceptual thinking and storytelling ability.
Experience writing across advertising, digital, social, brand and content.
Skilled in using AI tools to enhance research, brainstorming, content generation and campaign development while maintaining an authentic brand voice.
Excellent presentation and client-facing communication skills.
Ability to adapt tone of voice across multiple industries.

Requirements
South African citizens or permanent residents.
Based in South Africa.
Available to work full-time remotely.
Reliable fibre internet and professional home office.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Comfortable collaborating across UK business hours when required.
Demonstrated experience using AI tools within the creative process.
Bonus Points
Experience with UK or international clients.
Integrated agency experience.
FMCG, retail, financial services, technology, healthcare or B2B experience.
Award-winning work (Loeries, Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, The ANDYs, etc.).
Experience creating AI-generated imagery, video, presentations or rapid creative prototypes.
Experience developing AI-powered creative workflows or prompting frameworks.
