A tech company Start Date : September 14, 2026 Length : 1 Year Hourly Rate : $120/hr Weekly hours : 40 hours Geo-specific : Preference in NY/NJ (will require some days in the office in the future)- Remote first | Second choice is LA (Must be LA) About the Role Our client is looking for an AI Design Expert who has knowledge of the latest Tech across Social Media. This is a Designer at the core, someone whose fundamentals in typography, layout, and visual systems are strong, who also has a genuine fluency in the latest AI design tools and workflows and can apply that fluency to real creative output rather than just experimenting with it. The ideal person is deeply plugged into what's happening across social media culturally and in emerging technology, understands where design and AI are heading next, and brings strong conceptual thinking to every project. This isn't a purely technical role. It's a design role first, with AI as an accelerant and creative material rather than the whole point. What You'll Do Design across social and digital touchpoints, using AI tools as part of the creative process from concept through execution Stay closely tuned into the latest AI design tools, platforms, and techniques, and bring that knowledge into the work Concept and execute ideas that are visually strong first, technically innovative second Partner with creative and strategy teams to explore how AI can push existing ideas further or unlock new ones Learn and adapt to client-specific tools and workflows as needed Stay current on emerging tech and platform trends across social media and translate them into design opportunities Bring high taste and a strong point of view to every project, regardless of the tool used to get there 5+ years of design experience, with strong fundamentals in typography, layout, and visual systems Genuine AI design expertise, with a portfolio that reflects thoughtful use of AI tools rather than just novelty (Must have a portfolio when you apply) A designer's eye first. Strong conceptual thinking and high taste across formats Deep knowledge of culture and what's happening across social and digital platforms Ability to learn new tools quickly, including client-specific platforms Comfort with Figma and Google Slides for deck and concept presentations Flexibility and resilience under fast, high-pressure timelines and familiarity with working in a large corporation or tech environment with Fortune 500 Companies Great personality.
