Salary Range: $25.00 To $27.00 Hourly CCI Job Description Credentialing & Operations Specialist Department: Clinical Operations Reports To: Director of Operations Employment Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt W-2 Employee — 90-Day Introductory/Probationary Period, with review for conversion to Regular Status (see Position Evolution) Schedule: Part-time, set in coordination with the Director of Operations; core hours and weekly schedule to be defined in offer/onboarding paperwork Benefits Eligibility: Per CCI's standard part-time employee policy; full eligibility, where applicable, begins upon conversion to Regular Status Position Summary The Credentialing & Operations Specialist ensures clinicians experience a seamless transition from offer acceptance to assignment start. This is a part-time W-2 position beginning with a 90-day introductory/probationary period focused primarily on credentialing responsibilities, with regular secondary support across operations. Performance is reviewed at day 90 for conversion to Regular Status, with the role expected to expand in hours and scope over time (see Position Evolution below). This document is intended to give the employee clear expectations, responsibilities, and performance guidelines for the role. Why This Role Exists Our clinicians trust us with their careers. Our clients trust us with patient care. This role ensures every clinician begins each assignment fully compliant, accurately onboarded, and operationally ready to work — while helping build scalable operational processes that support CCI's continued growth. Position Evolution Introductory Period — Days 1–90 (Current) Structured as a part-time, probationary employee role: Employee works a regular, agreed-upon part-time schedule set in coordination with the Director of Operations. Primary focus is the credentialing lifecycle, with regular (not incidental) support across operations, as outlined below. Employee works within CCI's systems (TargetRecruit, Salesforce, etc.), tools, and processes, and follows CCI's standard operating procedures. Compensation is hourly, via standard payroll, with applicable tax withholding. Employee cross-trains on operations functions to provide backup coverage across the department, as time allows. Performance, reliability, and fit are formally reviewed at or near day 90 to determine conversion to Regular Status. Day 90 Review & Conversion Formal check-in against the responsibilities, KPIs, and success criteria outlined in this document. Outcomes: conversion to Regular Status (part-time or full-time, per business need), extension of the introductory period, or separation, at CCI's discretion. This introductory period is a performance framework only; it does not change the employee's at-will status, and either party may end employment at any time, with or without cause, consistent with company policy. Regular Status — Expanded Scope Broader operational responsibilities added as clinician volume grows. Increased weekly hours as scope expands. Full benefits eligibility per CCI policy, where applicable. Full-Time W-2 Transition to full-time employee status as business need supports it. Opportunity to specialize in either Credentialing & Compliance or Clinical Operations. Essential Responsibilities Credentialing & Compliance (Primary Focus) Manage the full credentialing lifecycle from candidate acceptance through assignment start. Prepare, distribute, track, receive, and maintain executed employment agreements, assignment confirmations, and related contractual documentation for clinicians and, as needed, client agreements. Operations Support (Secondary Focus) Assist with payroll preparation and validation for clinicians. Support assignment setup, extensions, and contract modifications. Perform data entry and quality assurance within TargetRecruit, Salesforce, and related systems. Maintain accurate clinician records and database integrity. Assist with operational reporting and data audits. Support special projects, documentation, and continuous process-improvement initiatives. Cross-train on operational functions to provide backup coverage across the department. Customer Experience Deliver a responsive, positive onboarding experience for clinicians.
