Work Schedule:
This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Credit Analyst to support the end-to-end lending operations of a fast-growing Australian fintech lender providing business finance solutions to mortgage brokers.
You will play a key role in assessing loan applications, managing settlements, monitoring repayments, and ensuring a smooth lending process. Working closely with the Sales and Credit teams, you will help maintain accurate applications and deliver efficient support throughout the loan lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare credit applications by collecting documents, following up with clients, and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Review ASIC documents, PPSR registers, and business structures to support credit assessments.
Coordinate settlement activities, including PPSR registrations, borrower confirmations, file management, and basic Xero reconciliations.
Monitor loan repayments and follow up on outstanding payments.
Collect and consolidate commission statements and related data.
Use AI tools and technology to improve workflow efficiency and productivity.
At least 5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst within the Australian mortgage broking, lending, banking, or related financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of Australian lending documentation and processes, including ASIC company searches, PPSR registrations, and corporate structures
Understanding of credit assessment processes and lending documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
Comfortable using AI tools and technology to enhance efficiency.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
