Credit Controller - Manchester, UK Founded in January 2016, OFR Consultants is an independent, employee-owned fire engineering practice. About you: You will have a minimum of two years’ experience in credit control or experience working within an accounts team. In addition, you will also be able to demonstrate skills in the following: Communication - you are capable of engaging effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Confidence - the role involves regular telephone communication , including speaking with senior stakeholders such as director s. Resilience and professionalism - you are able to manage challenging conversations or situations and build positive working relationships. Technical skills - you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Self-motivation - you are able to manage your own workload and take initiative where required . Responsibilities: Credit control across all OFR offices. Communicate via phone and email to chase outstanding payments. Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients. Responsible for overseeing the debtors across all offices. Assist with any other finance tasks as and when required. Run weekly debtor's sheet. Monitor aged debt and update Senior Credit Controller/Accounts Team Leader/Finance Director as and when required. What's in it for you?
